One of our favourite features of Cuppafield is that you can enjoy this cafe’s speciality coffee and waffles from the comfort of your own home.
Even better, Cuppafield doesn’t charge its customers taxes and service charge fees. This adds to the great value for money you can get by dining in at this quaint cafe.
While delivery is prompt and easy, the packaging could be improved, as the containers are not very stable. We noticed a few inconsistencies with food quality as well.
Despite that, Cuppafield is a staple cafe that many loyal customers come back to if they’re craving a light yet satisfying meal and a cup of coffee.

Clean and bright dining area
“Totally empty at 4pm on a Saturday. Very clean and bright, child friendly, spacious. Pan seared chicken very tasty, mash potatoes were creamy, salad was tangy and fresh. Fish and chips, and crispy chicken burger not bad too. Matcha latte had a fragrant rose syrup sweetness which I didn’t mind but some people might. Coffee was passable. Get a taste of Japanese “tea house” style coffee at Suzuki Cafe and Roastery, a quaint cafe in the West Region that specialises in Japanese coffee making.
To our surprise, the cafe serves coffee in three batches and is rightfully adamant about its tradition. The interiors are designed to emulate traditional Japanese tea houses, which adds a calming and inviting atmosphere.
Parking here, however, is tricky, as the nearest public parking areas are a few blocks away. The menu items are relatively pricey here too, but we honestly didn’t mind since the ambience and experience made up for the cost.

“In a little corner with glass windows, the minimalist cafe looks clean and inviting. I was won over by its chic interior with white tiles and finishes, accompanied by gorgeous grey and gold coffee machines. I’m not a coffee person but I was enticed by the huge croissants displayed. Eventually, I ordered mains as I was hungry. The food was presented very beautifully with its good sized seafood for my seafood aglio olio. But the chocolate banana cake took the stage. That one u got to try. I was there on a Tuesday night and the place wasn’t crowded – my friend told me its normally crowded, i guess i was lucky. Had the chance to catch up with a friend I haven’t met in a year. The staff gives u the space and privacy, yet very very attentive to our orders and requests. With its spacious and quiet setting, Twenty Eight Cafe is a haven for people searching for the best cafes to study in the central area. The cafe is accessible from Orchard and is a great spot if you want to grab a bite while working or studying.
There’s just a two-hour time limit which, for some people, may not be sufficient time to get some work done. The area is quite conducive to productivity, so we still highly recommend the cafe as a study spot.
