Lock in speed and security with the best data centres in Singapore!
Having been part of a startup tech company before, let me tell you that our in-house servers did a fine job of making hackers slam their keyboards.
When we expanded, though, levelling up became a must; bigger brands face bigger threats. That was when we hired a data centre. The security, both physical and digital, was tight!
If you’re looking for ones you can trust, we spent weeks combing through Singapore to find the best options. Read about their pros and cons below.
How much do data centres charge in Singapore?
In Singapore, data centres charge an average of US$13.80 (S$18) per watt, while monthly rates can go from US$300 (S$3894) to US$400 (S$519).

The multi-awarded Epsilon Telecommunications popped up many times during our discussion phase, hardly shocking since they’ve been around since 2003.
However, we valued their credentials more; they have the crucial ISO 27001. Beyond that, Epsilon has an ISO 9001, which is proof that they handle compliance and customer service properly.
Their Net Promoter Score (NPS) is also at 57, which clears the industry average for customer satisfaction.
Speed-wise, they pass, as clients gave props to the centre’s low-jittery, low-latency connection. Having 300+ centres and a 10 Gbps to 400 Gbps speed contributes to that.
Another reason they cracked a spot is the agile Infiny platform. It can be set up within an hour, lets you manage data in real-time, and doesn’t lock clients in long-term contracts.
Pricing, though, could be tough for SMEs. The office also closes on weekends, so we suggest enquiring before Friday.
On the upside, they replied to us within a day. Half and full racks are also available.
PDG Data Center SG1

Operating Hours: Daily – 24 hours

PDG’s credentials made us take notice. Besides ISO 27001, they carry four other ISO certifications on workplace safety, quality assurance, energy efficiency, and eco management.
Not getting locked to a single network provider is also a positive. You can pick who you want, which is more flexible than paying for an exclusive setup.
They get more points for pushing green efforts. Strong PUE targets and carbon footprint cuts are built into their designs, good news if you’re chasing ESG goals.
On the flip side, their eyes are on Singapore, Malaysia, China, India, Japan, and Indonesia. Better look elsewhere if your market is outside the Asia-Pacific region.
Moreover, they mainly court hyperscalers like AWS and Google rather than smaller players.
If you’re part of the former, though, PDG is worth a look. Their 20+ MW centres alone are perks, each geared to handle massive data loads, even energy-hungry setups like AI.
Global Switch Singapore Tai Seng

Address: 2 Tai Seng Ave
Contact Details: +65 6958 1800
Operating Hours: Daily – 24 hours
Website
Founded in 1998, Global Switch is an established name in the connectivity service industry. One of their advantages is flexibility, thanks to having single racks and fully customised private suites.
The benefit extends to their cloud and carrier solutions. There are no lock-ins, so your setup is adjusted to your business’s needs, not the data centre’s.
Adding a parking lot for visitors would do them wonders, though. We’d also appreciate it if the security were more polite.
Fortunately, Global Services goes beyond many critical benchmarks. For starters, their cooling capacity sits at 30 MV; the average is 20 MV.
ISO certification isn’t a weakness either. They have five, specifically 27001 (info security management), 9001 (quality management), 14001 (environmental management), 45001 (safety management), and 50001 (energy management).
In addition, they hold a Tier III performance standard, a grade given to centres with an uptime of 99.982%.
Equinix Data Center SG1

Address: 20 Ayer Rajah Crescent
Contact Details: +65 6723 8833
Operating Hours: Daily – 24 hours
Website
Like the recent pick, Equinix started in 1998. That’s a win if you value experience.
Another bright spot is that they have plenty of credentials other than ISO-issued certificates. The TVRA one, for instance, carries serious weight since it evaluates protection against security threats.
Better yet, Equinix’s reliability exceeds our standard. As of 2025, their average global uptime is at 99.999%+. That’s likely why their client base is composed of Fortune 500 companies.
We also think they’re a safe bet if you’re planning to expand. Equinix has 260+ International Business Exchange centres across 74 major cities—the most in this list, and a significant bonus in terms of efficiency.
As expected, however, smaller players might not handle the pricing. There are also over 10,000 clients in the mix, so a response usually takes a day or more.
On a positive note, real-time monitoring is provided. The sweeter part is that they provide a free demo on how to.
CapitaLand

Operating Hours: Daily – 24 hours

Peace of mind is one thing you’ll likely enjoy with CapitaLand’s 9 Tai Seng Drive data centre. Off the bat, it’s protected by numerous levels of power feeds and UPS, so even major outages will unlikely affect operations.
The IT white space is also scalable, thanks to its 12.5 kN/sqm floor loading and 6 m floor-to-ceiling height. In other words, there’s a slim chance of dealing with issues related to dense or large deployments.
Plus, they provide a Build-to-Suit option, which is rare among competitors. Basically, solutions like power configuration and network setups will be adjusted to your specific operational needs, making this a more cost-effective feature.
As for credentials, their biggest ones are TVRA and BCA-IMDA certifications. The latter is awarded at the platinum-tier, making it Singapore’s highest sustainability certification.
Being out of the way, though, accessibility isn’t CapitaLand’s strongest point. Some data centres also have AWS and Google as cloud service partners; this one doesn’t.
