I stumbled upon Miffy’s Garden at Changi Airport, and it’s pure joy, especially if you’ve got kids in tow! Miffy is a small white rabbit created by Dutch artist Dick Bruna in 1955, and has a loyal fanbase in the Lion City for her soft-spoken nature and adorable looks.

Set in Terminal 3’s public Departure Hall, the garden centrepiece is a giant Miffy beside a hot air balloon, surrounded by bright yellow and red tulips that practically scream photo op.

Also present is Snuffy the dog with his own little kennel, which my niece wouldn’t stop posing with.

Entry: S$15

There’s also a Miffy inflatable playground just a short walk away from the garden. It’s a bouncy wonderland with a ball pit that my nephew dove into like it was filled with candy.

Kids can access the ball pit via an inflatable two-metre slide that’s as exciting as landing into a soft pile of colourful plastic balls!

The entry is S$15, but if you’re already in Changi Airport to eat or shop, you can get a S$15 play pass for purchases worth S$50 at the shops or S$80 at the supermarkets.

WHERE: Basement 2, Terminal 3

There are cute photo spots all around, but most are concentrated at Basement 2 of Terminal 3, where small queues of selfie-takers can also be found. There are decals on the staircases and standees that the kids will go crazy over.

Again, a minimum spend of S$50 at Changi shops and restaurants or S$80 at supermarkets lets you purchase up to three exclusive Miffy goodies and redeem a free Miffy luggage tag!

Take your pick from Miffy shoe bags, mobile phone straps, keychain charms, and packing cubes to keep Miffy close to you the next time you arrive or depart from Changi Airport.

Do note that no boarding pass is needed at this cute airport wonderland because it’s in a public zone! The lovable Dutch bunny’s garden is charming, easy to access, and timed perfectly for the March school holidays.

So if you’re passing through Changi or are just nearby, take a short hop to this sweet, family-friendly detour until May 12.
