The Scoop on Singapore’s Newest Green Space, Tampines Boulevard Park!

If you ever find yourself in Tampines North, there’s a new green spot worth checking out—Tampines Boulevard Park (East)! It’s just a short walk from Tampines Eco Green, making it a great addition to the area’s nature spaces for kids, families, and furbabies.

The 4.78-hectare West section opened in 2024 and is nestled among the apartment blocks of the Tampines North neighbourhood. The whole park officially opened in February 2025. 

The park’s design incorporates feedback from Tampines residents, gathered through an online survey in 2020. Yep, they built it with us Singaporeans in mind! So why not drop by?

How to Get There

By MRT: The nearest MRT station is Tampines North MRT (Cross Island Line). From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk via Tampines Avenue 12. Exit the station, head towards Tampines Eco Green, and follow the park signs along the way.

By bus: The closest bus stop is Tampines North Station Exit 1 (Bus Stop 75459) along Tampines Avenue 12. Buses 18, 129, and 298 stop there. From the bus stop, it’s just around a 5-minute walk to the park.

By car or taxi/drop-off: Tampines Boulevard Park (East) is accessible via Tampines Avenue 12 via car or taxi/ride-share. The nearest drop-off point is along Tampines Boulevard, near Tampines North MRT. 

There is no dedicated parking lot within the park, but visitors can use nearby HDB parking lots in the Tampines North neighbourhood.

The Park’s Development

Tampines Boulevard Park is a 10.06-hectare green space divided into East and West sections by Tampines Avenue 12. The 4.78-hectare West section opened in 2024 and is nestled among the apartment blocks of the Tampines North neighbourhood.

It officially opened in February 2025. The park’s design incorporates feedback from Tampines residents, gathered through an online survey in 2020, reflecting the community’s desire for accessible green spaces and recreational amenities.

Enjoy nature-inspired playtime

The Nature Playground at Tampines Boulevard Park is for families with kids who love playing outdoors. Made from recycled wood and natural elements, it encourages imaginative play while blending seamlessly with the park’s greenery.

Unlike standard playgrounds, this space lets children climb logs, balance on beams, and explore tactile play areas inspired by nature. 

Let your dogs run!

The Dog Run at Tampines Boulevard Park is a 1,200-square metre paradise for furry friends who love to sprint and socialise. The spacious, fenced-in area gives dogs the freedom to roam off-leash while enjoying the soft grassy slopes.

It’s especially welcome to furparents living in smaller HDB units whose dogs have the zoomies any time of the day, as the dog run is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

Have a grassy or hilly stroll

The park’s grassy knolls and gentle hilly slopes make it perfect for a leisurely stroll or picnic. The natural terrain and wide open spaces can make you forget you’re in a bustling city.

The spaces are complemented by newly planted trees and shrubs, offering both shade and beauty to visitors.

There’s also a shaded fitness area equipped with inclusive exercise equipment suitable for all ages and abilities. It’s centrally located at the park, so it’s easy to find for those looking for outdoor workouts.
