A Guide to Disney Cruise Singapore, the Happiest Place at Sea!

All right, Singaporean Disney fans, the moment you’ve been waiting for has finally arrived: the Disney Cruise Line is finally coming to Singapore this 2025! Cue that Michael Scott GIF of him screaming “Okay, it’s happening! Everybody, stay calm!”

Ever since it was first announced, the Disney Cruise Line has been part of every Disney fan’s bucket list. This cruise is essentially Disneyland but at sea; the ship is full of restaurants, shops, and rides themed around Disney’s beloved franchises.

I was lucky enough to experience the cruise when I was still in the US, and now that I’m in Singapore, I’m looking forward to reliving it. If you’re a first-timer, here’s an in-depth guide to what you can expect on Disney Cruise Singapore.

Overview: What is the Disney Cruise?

Simply put, the Disney Cruise is the Walt Disney Company’s very own cruise line. It’s a celebration of the company’s media franchises (e.g., Disney Animation, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and more); all the attractions aboard the ship are themed around them.

The cruise line actually has several ships, namely Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Treasure. In 2025, two more will be added: Disney Destiny and Disney Adventure.

The latter will be the ship that fans will ride when the cruise ship departs from Singapore.

Disney Cruise Sail Dates

Disney Cruise Singapore will have her maiden voyage on December 15, 2025. Then, on December 27, 2025, there will be another special voyage to celebrate the New Year. This will be the only voyage that will last for six days and five nights!

After that, the official sail dates will be from January to September 2026. Depending on what type of cruise you’re booking, these are the specific sail dates:

How to Book

You can book your tickets via the Disney Cruise website itself. This method is perfect if you want to get on the maiden voyage or the special New Year voyage.

Klook is another way to get your tickets because it’s a partner for Disney Adventure. The great thing about booking your tickets via Klook is that you can enjoy exclusive perks like discount vouchers. Sign up for their waitlist to ensure you won’t miss out once ticket listings drop.

The only downside to getting your tickets via Klook is that some dates won’t be available. So, keep that in mind if your preferred date isn’t available on Klook.

The Rooms and Their Prices

Inside Stateroom

From: bazza.travels

The cheapest option available, the Inside Stateroom is the best option if you don’t want to be far from the action because it’s near the fun attractions, restaurants, and shops. If you’re lucky, you can even get an Inside Stateroom that provides a view of the gorgeous Disney Discovery Reef area.

Inside Staterooms have beautiful storybook landscapes inspired by Disney, Pixar, and Marvel stories, and these art pieces are situated above the bed. This room also has other amenities like a flat-screen TV and a sleeper sofa.

As for the room’s capacity, the standard Inside Stateroom can accommodate two people, while the deluxe version can sleep up to four.

Oceanview Stateroom

From: cruisingwithtammy

The Oceanview Stateroom is essentially just like the Inside Stateroom in terms of general appearance, but this one has a window that looks out into the ocean. It’s a great choice if you like waking up to sunlight streaming in.

The standard Oceanview Stateroom is spacious enough for up to four people, and it’s equipped with a 32-inch flat-screen television, a mini-refrigerator, and other amenities.

If you want more space, choose the Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom. This one can also accommodate up to four people and has the same amenities as the regular room, but it has an area of 209 square feet, much more than the regular 165 square feet.

Verandah Stateroom

From: alex_slann

I love going on cruises, but one thing I hate about them is that I get cabin fever. That’s why from now on, I’ll be choosing rooms with their own balcony. If you’re the same, book the Verandah Stateroom.

Depending on what deck your room is located in, you can enjoy an enchanting view of the Discovery Reef, Imagination Garden, or the ocean. The balcony has patio furniture, double-layered glass railings, and childproof locks, so not only is it comfortable, but it’s also safe if you’re traveling with children.

Concierge Stateroom

From: dixietravels

If you want to go all out on your Disney cruise, book the Concierge Stateroom. This is the most luxurious option out here; it’s basically a suite in a ship!

All Concierge Staterooms have large floor-to-ceiling windows, so you can enjoy the view of the ocean or the open oasis of Wayfinder Bay whenever you want. They’re also spacious, with multiple beds, so up to six people can stay here.

The best options, in my opinion, are the Concierge Suite and Concierge Family Stateroom. Both have a large private balcony with an actual hot tub. Just imagine being able to enjoy a hot soak after a long day with the ocean right in front of you!

What to Do

Watch a live show

From: disneycruiselineaunz

One of my favorite things about the Disney Cruise is that it has a live show every day. And these shows are big-budget productions, so it’s like watching several Broadway shows in a span of days!

I haven’t seen all the shows the cruise has to offer, but I have enjoyed all that I’ve seen. Here are some of my favorites that I think you need to see for yourself when you join the cruise:

  • Moana: Call of the Sea. This is a musical retelling of Moana, and it’s about Moana going on a journey to find herself and make friends. I love that this show uses practical water effects and puppetry; these elements make the show even more engaging.
  • Remember. I was stoked to discover that there’s a show on the Disney Adventure Cruise featuring characters from WALL-E, my favorite Pixar movie of all time. This is a musical where WALL-E attempts to restore EVE’s memories with the help of the heroes from Coco, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and other beloved Disney and Pixar films.
  • Captain Jack Sparrow and the Siren Queen. In this show, you’ll be going on a journey with the charming Captain Jack Sparrow to break a malevolent curse. I love how the stage is made partly with LED screens, so the special effects look even more majestic and immersive!

Attend a deck party

One thing I discovered during my first Disney cruise ride is that the deck is never dull. There’s always a party going on, and even as an introvert, I’m compelled to go!

From my experience, these are the deck parties that you have to participate in. In my opinion, attending at least one completes your cruise experience.

  • Sailing Away Deck Party. As the name suggests, it’s a deck party to celebrate the moment the ship leaves port. This party is great because it starts your cruise with a bang! Plus, who doesn’t want to dance with your favorite Disney mascots?
  • Pirate Night. With this deck party, you can channel your inner Jack Sparrow or Elizabeth Swann and wear your best, swashbuckling outfit to party with your fellow buccaneers.
  • Frozen Deck Party. If you’re a big Frozen fan, this is a must-attend. Not only will you get to sing your heart out to the iconic songs, but you can also eat dishes inspired by the movie and play games.

Have a meet-and-greet with prominent Disney characters

From: the_disney_counselor

You’re aboard a Disney-themed ship, so you might as well go out of your way to meet and greet some of the company’s most popular characters!

My favorite meet-and-greet event here is the Marvel Day at Sea. On the ship’s deck, you can find all your favorite superheroes! In particular, I was stoked to meet Black Widow, Falcon, and Captain America, so of course, I had to take selfies with them.

For little children, one experience they have to try is the Royal Society for Friendship and Tea. With this event, kids aged 3 to 12 can enjoy a lovely and magical gathering with Disney princesses!

For young people, join a youth club

From: vacations_with_v

If you’re traveling with children, then they’ll be delighted to know that the cruise ship has several clubs and lounges dedicated to them! These clubs are the best places to mingle with other Disney-loving youths (and stay away from their parents for a little while).

My niece really loved the Vibe Lounge. It’s a teens-exclusive space, and from the photos, it looks so cozy. There are big pillows and bean bags and a giant flat-screen television. What a lovely place to chill out!

For adults, relax inside nightclubs and lounges

From: nickyycruz

Children aren’t the only ones who have spaces catered to them. There are also nightclubs and lounges intended for adults. That’s great news to me because as much as I love children, sometimes, I do want to be away from them for a while.

My favorite adults-only lounge is Spellbound, a dark and shadowy lounge inspired by Snow White’s Evil Queen. Despite its supposedly dark and “evil” vibe, the lounge is actually super cozy and comforting.

The “potions” are wonderful as well—so vibrantly colored and taste sweet and refreshing. Thankfully, I didn’t die when drinking my potion, so no need for a prince to kiss me to bring me back to life.

Have a princess makeover at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

When I was young, I dreamed of having my own princess makeover, and I’m sure many kids have the same dream. If your child is one of them, you can make their dreams come true by booking them a session at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

I came here once with my niece, and it was so exciting to see her get transformed into Cinderella, her favorite princess. It was also fun seeing the other kids getting their makeovers. The big smiles on their faces lit up the room!

To make things better, this makeover isn’t just reserved for princesses. Your child can also request to transform into a pirate or knight!

Go down slides and wade in pools at Toy Story Place

From: cruisemabi

Toy Story Place is basically a waterpark aboard a cruise ship. Themed around the Toy Story films, this area is full of whimsy and fun. It’s popular among children, but adults are free to join in too.

I’m a big fan of the waterslides here because they twist and turn! If you have children with you, they might prefer the Flying Saucer Splash Zone or the Toy Story Splash Pad.

When you’re hungry, head to Wheezy’s Freezies for a sweet ice cream treat or Pizza Planet for hefty, greasy, but delicious pizza slices.

Go on adrenaline-pumping rides at Marvel Landing

From: cruisemabi

Marvel Landing is another theme park aboard the cruise ship, but instead of water slides and water play areas, you can find rides that will definitely get your heart pumping.

One of the new features that will be unveiled for the first time on the Disney Cruise Singapore itself is the Ironcycle Test Run. It’s the longest rollercoaster at sea, and I’ve heard that it’s super fast, too! I can just imagine how much screaming there will be with this ride.

Another attraction you can’t miss out on is the Pym Quantum Racers. This will let you steer your very own Pym Tech-modified mini-cars on an oversized toy set track. That description alone reminds me of Mario Kart, and I’m already excited!

Sunbathe at Wayfinder Bay

From: disneycruiselinesg

Feeling tired but you don’t want to stay holed up inside your room? You can head to Wayfinder Bay instead and sunbathe on the many lounge chairs.

Usually, I come here to read and enjoy the cool sea breeze. The area also has a wading pool, so sometimes, I take a dip and just float around on my back.

For more fun, there are shows staged here as well. Moana: Call of the Sea is one of them.

Watch a movie or play arcade games at San Fransokyo Street

From: disneycruiselinesg

Inspired by the world of Big Hero 6, San Fransokyo Street is a vibrant and futuristic-looking family entertainment area filled with shops and fun gaming sections.

One attraction you can look out for is the Big Hero Arcade, which lets you play old-school games on arcade machines.

I’ve heard this area will also have the Hiro Training Zone, an immersive simulator you can play with others. You’ll be running, dodging, and fighting against “enemies” across a high-tech gaming floor. It sounds so fun, I can’t wait to try it!

Relax at any of the spas

From: magic_is_happening

If your muscles are feeling sore after a long day, you might want to head to one of the ship’s many spas to get a rejuvenating massage!

One spa that will be coming to the Disney Adventure Cruise Ship is the Rainforest Room, which is designed to look like, well, a rainforest. Aside from its soothing interior design, this spa comes with experiential showers, heated loungers, an aromatherapy steam room, and a dry sauna.

You’ll feel refreshed and ready to take on anything after a session here!

Try the Disney Uncharted Adventure

From: disneycruiseplan

Are you ready to go on a memorable adventure? Then, you have to try the Disney Uncharted Adventure, a mobile game that both kids and adults can enjoy!

This interactive game has Captain Minnie leading you on an adventure involving starlit skies and enchanted realms. Your goal is to restore the Wishing Star, and to do that, you have to gather its missing pieces by looking for them all around the ship.

This game is so much fun, especially since it brings me back to my Pokemon GO days. Plus, I get to compete with my family!

Where to Dine

Hollywood Spotlight Club and Navigator’s Club

From: disneycruiselinesg

Two dining experiences that will be coming to the Disney Adventure Cruise are the Hollywood Spotlight Club and Navigator’s Club. I’ve already added these two to my itinerary, and I recommend you do the same!

The Hollywood Spotlight Club puts you right in the glitz and glamor of Hollywood’s Golden Age. Meanwhile, the Navigator’s Club pays homage to the golden age of cruising, so expect to find old maps, charts, and other vintage decorations in the room.

The best part is that in both restaurants, you’ll meet with the iconic Disney mascots—Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Daisy Duck—all dressed to the nines! Plus, there will be live music!

I hear the menu will both feature regional and international dishes. I like to imagine (nay, hope) that maybe one of the restaurants will have a fancy rendition of Singapore’s chili crab dish.

Animator’s Palate and Animator’s Table

From: danielebarresi

Two other restaurants coming to the Disney Adventure Cruise are the Animator’s Palate and Animator’s Table. As the names suggest, these two celebrate the legacy of Disney and Pixar Animation Studios.

From the pictures I’ve seen, it seems like Animator’s Palate features film strips, clapboards, director’s chairs, and even mechanical props as decorations, while Animator’s Table has hand-drawn sketches from iconic films like Aladdin and Finding Nemo

Just like the Hollywood Spotlight Club and Navigator’s Club, information about the menus remains a mystery, but you can expect artfully prepared regional and international cuisine.

Palo Trattoria

From: mickeygurujen

Palo Trattoria is the best place to go if you’re craving Italian cuisine. Plus, this restaurant is only open to adults, which is perfect if you want a short break from all the children.

You can’t go wrong with any of the steaks. I personally love the Australian Wagyu ribeye, which is so tender it melts on my tongue.

For dessert, I recommend the chocolate souffle; the cake itself is light as air, and it’s served piping hot with a luxurious vanilla bean and chocolate sauce. Such an indulgent treat!

Enchanted Summer Restaurant

From: kaitlyn.smartmomstravel

Enchanted Summer Restaurant is a sprawling restaurant with two distinct dining rooms that are inspired by Tangled and Frozen

The first dining room is named Maximums, and it embodies the atmosphere of a lantern festival. It even has a maypole and hand-painted motifs of the sun as decorations. Olaf is the second dining room, and its atmosphere is Arendelle during the summer solstice.

This restaurant specialises in breakfast and lunch buffets, serving regional and international cuisine. I can just imagine how great it is to start my day by getting scrambled eggs and coffee here.

Mike and Sulley’s—Flavors of Asia

From: disneycruiselinesg

Mike and Sulley’s—Flavors of Asia is another new one coming to the Disney Adventure Cruise, and it’s a Japanese restaurant featuring four distinct experiences. These experiences are a steakhouse, a teppanyaki room, an omakase-style diner, and a sushi bar.

I’m excited about the sushi bar because it’s located outdoors. Eating fresh sushi while the sea breeze is caressing your hair sounds like a fun time in my book.

Stitch’s Ohana Grill

From: andrea.ita.garcia

Say aloha to a Hawaiian dinner at Stitch’s Ohana Grill. Inspired by Lilo and Stitch, this restaurant serves classic American bites.

Burgers and sandwiches are said to be the main stars here, and I can’t say no to them. A burger with a greasy, hefty patty or a hearty sandwich sounds like a perfect treat when you’re extremely hungry and you can’t wait too long for your food.

Mowgli’s Eatery

From: disneycruiselinesg

Mowgli’s Eatery is a restaurant that draws inspiration from The Jungle Book, so you can imagine that the aesthetics here are very, well, jungle-like. It looks so cute in photos, and I can’t wait to see that in real life.

This quick-service restaurant serves Indian cuisine, but I hear that its menu will also have cuisine inspired by the region the cruise is visiting, as well as vegetarian options. I just hope they have butter chicken because that’s my favorite Indian dish.

Gramma Tala’s Kitchen

From: rajatravel_com

Since Gramma Tala’s Kitchen is inspired by Moana, its aesthetic look is reminiscent of tropical island life. The menu also takes inspiration from the bright flavors of Pacific Islander and Asian cuisines.

This is a new restaurant, so I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m expecting to find poke bowls and fish tacos on the menu. I hope there are fun fruity smoothies too!

Luxury Shopping inside the Cruise Ship

From: brightsidetravelco

A Disney experience won’t be complete without any shops luring you in and convincing you to drop cash for all sorts of merch.

The official list of shops is yet to be revealed, but based on my past Disney cruise experiences, you can expect several shops offering apparel themed on certain franchises. There’s even a possibility you can buy a full-on costume of your favorite character aboard the cruise ship!

If you want to splurge more, there will be shopfronts of luxury brands like Bvlgari. The best part is that these brands offer limited-edition Disney-themed bags and jewelry, so if you’re a big Disney fan, you’ll definitely be tempted to buy them for your collection.
