Another standout dish is the highly recommended signature beef stew. It almost resembles a bolognese sauce with thick, tender beef chunks, potatoes, and carrots.
Pro-tip: With prices ranging from S$8 to S$16.30, it’s among the pricier stalls at Fernvale.

The chicken-flavoured rice is non-oily and subtly ginger-flavoured. Tender deboned chicken pieces are served with a sweet soy sauce blend which made it hard for us not to scarf it down in a matter of seconds.
