What to Do

Go solo or bring friends

Whether you’re flying solo or rallying your crew, The Fragment Room offers packages for every vibe. The Single Package is perfect for a solo 30-minute smash therapy session, while the Double and Triple Packages let you share the fun (and the chaos) with friends.

I’ve tried both, and trust me, smashing things alone is oddly therapeutic, but doing it with friends takes the experience to another level!

Gear up for safety

Safety first, chaos second—that’s the motto at The Fragment Room. Before you even touch a bat, you’ll suit up in sturdy coveralls, gloves, and a helmet that make you feel like a cross between a scientist and a demolition expert.

Having been there, I can vouch that the gear lets you go all out without a second thought. Paired with optional rental safety boots, you’ll be smashing plates and electronics worry-free, knowing you’re fully protected from flying debris.

Choose your smash tools

Here, your weapon of choice sets the tone for destruction. Will it be the classic baseball bat, the no-nonsense crowbar, or the versatile mallet? Each tool offers a unique smashing experience, from satisfying cracks to full-blown obliterations.

I’ve tried them all, and there’s a certain thrill in picking the perfect tool for the job.

Break bottles, plates, and even electronics

The Fragment Room lets you unleash your inner rage on crates of bottles, plates, and cups—each smash more satisfying than the last.

Want to up the stakes? Upgrade to electronics and watch a printer or TV meet its glorious end under your swing!

I can say nothing beats the sound of plates shattering or the crunch of breaking a screen.

Customise your smash session playlist

Nothing sets the mood for destruction like your favourite playlist blasting in the background. You get to customise your smash session with a tablet full of song choices—be it heavy metal, pop anthems, or a power ballad to belt out mid-swing.

When I was there, I went full drama with “Undertow” by Tool, and let me tell you, it hit differently with every shatter.

BYOB (Bring Your Own Breakables)

Got something you’ve been dying to smash? At The Fragment Room, you can BYOB (Bring Your Own Breakables)—as long as it’s something you can physically carry (sorry, no trolleys). You also have to pay a small fee.

When I went, I brought an old keyboard that had been the bane of my work-from-home life. Watching it shatter into pieces was oddly liberating!

Request a slo-mo video of your session

Ever wondered how epic you’d look smashing a bottle in slow motion? At The Fragment Room, you can add a slo-mo video to your session and relive every glorious shatter in cinematic detail.

It’s the ultimate keepsake for your smashing therapy and the perfect way to show your friends how catharsis really looks. Watching my bat connect with a plate and seeing shards fly in perfect slow-mo was oddly satisfying—and maybe a little badass.

Buy some unique merch and souvenirs

Why stop at smashing when you can take home a piece of the chaos? The Fragment Room offers unique merch and souvenirs, from branded T-shirts and caps to quirky taxidermy keepsakes that let you remember the most cathartic experience of your week.

I snagged a cool T-shirt as a badge of honour for surviving the smash fest. It’s the perfect conversation starter. Plus, it’s a stylish reminder that sometimes, breaking things is exactly what you need.
