What to See and Do
Soar over a jungle canopy
Media from megaadventuresingapore
Location: MegaZip; starting point: Imbiah Hill
Minimum height: 90 cm
Minimum weight: 30 kg
Maximum weight: 140 kg
Standing at the edge of Imbiah Hill, harness locked in, I felt the MegaZip rush before I even took off. Once I launched, I tried hard to forget that I was 450 metres above the treetops and I was zipping along at around 60 kilometres per hour!
Proud to say I didn’t pass out and got to drink in some stunning island and ocean views. But the jungle blurring beneath my feet while Siloso Beach came into view did give me a little scare, not going to lie!
Pro-tip: Keep your eyes on the horizon and avoid looking down to prevent dizziness.
Go on a high ropes adventure

Location: MegaClimb, Imbiah Hill, near MegaZip starting point
Minimum height: 120 cm
Minimum weight: 25 kg
Maximum weight: 120 kg
Asking myself “How hard can this be?” should be enough motivation to scale MegaClimb, right? My first shaky step on a wobbly bridge, 15 metres up, gave me the answer.
Aside from climbing 15 metres up, I encountered obstacles in the form of wooden planks, rope swings, and tightropes. My legs were shaking when I reached the last platform, but I was grinning proudly at conquering my slight fear of heights.
Pro-tip: Balance is key here: keep your knees slightly bent and focus on one step at a time.
Try a virtual parachute jump

Location: MegaJump, Imbiah Hill, near MegaZip starting point
Minimum weight: 30 kg
Maximum weight: 120 kg
At this point in Mega Adventure Park, I was seriously asking myself why I got talked into zipping and climbing like it was nothing. Standing on the 15-metre platform, my brain was screaming “NOPE!” even when I felt the security of the harness hugging me.
But the moment I stepped off, I felt a smooth and controlled parachute descent and none of the stomach-churning chaos I was expecting. The free-fall lasted only seconds, but the adrenaline rush stayed long after I touched down.
Pro-tip: Consider taking a motion-sickness pill 30 minutes before you jump if you’re prone to dizziness.
Bounce around
Media from megaadventuresingapore
Location: MegaBounce, Siloso Beach, near the landing area of MegaZip
Maximum weight: 60 kg
Ever wanted to soar so high you’ll be eye to eye with flying birds? Try MegaBounce and you might just find yourself reaching up to 8 metres high from jumping on a trampoline.
Everything’s safe here: you’ll be strapped into a harness and strong bungee cords that will make each bounce feel effortless and smooth. Flipping in mid-air could be terrifying at first, but you’ll soon be in control of your movements and flying like a caped hero.
Pro-tip: Avoid loose clothing or skirts to prevent getting entangled with the harness.
Take in Sentosa’s views
Media from staysaltysingapore
Locations: MegaClimb platform; Imbiah Hill; on the MegaZip ride
When you finally have time to catch your breath and your legs stop shaking, take a moment to soak in the lush jungle, golden sands, and endless blue sea of Sentosa. Or, you could also do that before or during your thrill activity of your choice.
When I was zipping, the view got better when Sentosa’s coastline stretched beneath me. And up on the MegaClimb platform, I caught gorgeous glimpses of Siloso Beach and the sea between treetop gaps.
Pro-tip: Visit in the late afternoon for the best golden hour views of Sentosa.
Zipline alongside friends or family
Media from megaadventuresingapore
Location: MegaZip’s triple-line system, Imbiah Hill
Minimum height: 90 cm
Minimum weight: 30 kg (can ride in tandem if under)
Maximum weight: 140 kg
If you don’t want to go ziplining alone, there are options for tandem or even three-person systems. The thrill that ziplining brings should be shared with people you can laugh (or yell) with in mid-air, after all!
You can race side by side on MegaZip’s triple-line system and scream your heads off in the process. For smaller (and lighter) riders, the tandem option lets you zip down safely with a buddy so no one misses out on the fun.
Pro-tip: A tandem MegaZip ride (1 adult and 1 child) costs S$99. For groups of 4 or more, enjoy a 15% discount on individual tickets to reduce the price to just S$56.10/pax.
Embark on a nighttime adventure
Media from megaadventuresingapore
Location: MegaClimb, MegaZip
To further prove my courage, I joined some friends on a MegaClimb course one night with only headlamps and moonlight guiding the way. It felt a lot like stepping into a jungle survival challenge, but it was exhilarating.
We also tried the MegaZip after dark and thankfully didn’t have a head-on collision with a bat. Zipping through the night air was eerie but strangely fun with just the wind and the distant glow of Siloso Beach below.
Pro-tip: Wear reflective or bright clothing, ensure your harness is double-checked, and follow staff instructions for maximum safety.
Join the Mega Adventure Race

Location and schedule: Mega Adventure Park; no set schedule but announcements are made on the website
I was able to join the latest Mega Adventure Race to feel the rush of competition mixed with adrenaline. The challenges included scaling obstacles at MegaClimb, soaring down the MegaZip, and tackling surprise tasks which pushed me beyond my limits.
Signing up was easy: I just downloaded the race details from the website and registered online. I’m looking forward to the next one to test my speed, skill, and guts!
Pro-tip: Download the Mega Adventure Race app from Google Play and the App Store.
Take part in a team-building challenge

My colleagues and I are an unserious bunch, so we started our Mega Adventure Park team-building session laughing our heads off. But by the time we tackled the MegaZip together, the smiles were wiped off our faces as we focused on racing side by side.
If you want the same kind of challenge for your team or company, just book a corporate package on the website and everything will be handled for you. It’s a great alternative to awkward ice-breakers!
Pro-tip: Team building groups are typically made up of 10 to 15 people, but the park can customise challenges to accommodate smaller or bigger groups.
