I dropped by The Vintage Fair 2025 at Journey East, and it was immediately clear this 10th anniversary event was something special. It looked and felt like a museum of treasures you could bring home.
Each booth was thoughtfully curated, with standout vintage pieces from some of the country’s top independent collectors. From mid-century furniture to retro fashion, every find felt intentional, and nothing felt random.
What I Saw, Whom I Met, What I Bought
There was everything from designer bags to old-school home decor and upcycled lighting that looked modern. We’re talking about repurposed, reimagined, one-of-a-kind light fixtures you won’t find in chain stores or home furniture outlets.

I spent a good while at the Eye of the Cat Jewellery x Peony Jade booth. I couldn’t help it; I like cats and unique jewellery! The pieces I got felt like they came with their own past lives, too (not the scary kind, mind).
I believe antique rings and bracelets will always add elegance to any outfit or occasion. Plus, you know you got something special when you walk away knowing no one else will wear the same thing.
I also swung by PepperVint Home when I spied a gorgeously lacquered chest of drawers, which I admittedly couldn’t afford but had to pause to admire. There were smaller accent pieces perfect for HDB dwellers, too.
The booth looked and felt like a time capsule of global charm, filled with sleek glassware, rustic pottery, and nothing mass-produced or soulless.

Everywhere I turned, there were treasure troves of vintage fashion pieces, time pieces, and covetable designer rarities you’ll probably encounter only once in this lifetime.
And when I started feeling a bit overwhelmed by all that vintage gloriousness, there was a stand with freshly brewed coffee to revive my shopaholic spirit. Pick Me Up Coffee did just that with a delicious cup of brew served by a smiling husband and wife tandem.
It wasn’t just about shopping at The Vintage Fair 2025, either. I got to meet fellow vintage fans, trade tips, and talk style with people who really get sustainable living and are all-out in support of it.
And yes, buying pre-loved never felt this luxe. It’s nice knowing I left with pieces that are both timeless and kind to the planet.
See you all at the next fair!
