Top 12 Anime Shops in Singapore to Make Your Inner Otaku Happy
My nerdy friend group comprises seasoned Gundam model builders, avid collectors of anime figures, and those who just started their journey into the exciting world of anime merchandise.
We’re lucky that Lion City has a plethora of shops offering everything from the latest releases to rare collectables to fulfil our otaku lives. If you’re one of us, consider this your ultimate guide to the best anime shops in Singapore.

At La Tendo, merchandise is neatly organised by anime/manga series like Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen. It’s potentially the largest physical anime store in Singapore, offering a wide selection from premium figures to affordable collectables like keychains, standees, and can badges.
Surprisingly, near the back of the store, there’s a section with second-hand merch imported from Japan, mainly can badges and keychains. However, hidden treasures can be found here, too, if you have the patience.
Pro-tip: The shop even has rare items, including Persona merch!
Seimon-Cho
Address: 2 Jurong East Street 21

Hours: Daily, 11 AM to 9.30 PM

I like going to Seimon-Cho because its staff are all anime enthusiasts. I’m often asked about my current favourite anime and it’s a great feeling to be led to new arrivals like a VIP.
Speaking of which, VIP clients can get up to 5% off on store purchases! All you’ll need to do is spend S$100 in one receipt for an instant discount and free lifetime VIP membership.
The shop is beautifully decorated and clearly caters to otakus. It has adorable items in stock like pens, umbrellas, and plushies, all authentically sourced from Japan.
Pro-tip: For Sanrio fans, Seiman-Cho is an authorised San-X flagship store!

Otaku House is a small store specialising in cosplay items and related merchandise. It’s largely regarded by fans as the epicentre of Singapore’s cosplay scene.
The shop offers a decent selection of Gashapon, small toys, and affordable, high-quality manga figurines. Along with toys, the store offers anime-themed clothes and figurines, including notable ones like Alice from SAO, Shiro from No Game No Life, and characters from One Piece.
Pro-tip: Costumes have limited sizes in-store, so staff assistance is needed for purchases.
Asobi!
Address: Suite P, Arumugam Rd, B LTC Building
Contact: +6584247314
Hours: Tuesday and Friday to Saturday, 2 to 7 PM
Price: $$
Facebook
Asobi offers cheaper anime merch than other anime stores I frequent. For example, I got a Kurumi Alter figure for under S$300, while another shop charged over S$340 for members.
The shop also has a reward card system to exchange stamps for items like mugs or plushies. Being here feels more like a warehouse than a typical store, though there’s also an online shop if you don’t want to feel overwhelmed.
Pro-tip: For non-Singaporeans: bring cash, as the store doesn’t accept international credit cards.
Chronicles Inc.
Address: 3 Coleman Street

Hours:
- Sunday to Wednesday, noon to 8 PM
- Thursday to Saturday, 11 AM to 9 PM

The owner of Chronicles Inc. is a kind anime enthusiast with a great selection of figures and statues for every fan. This is my go-to place for Bandai, Banpresto, and Mega House products.
My pre-orders are handled smoothly, and items always arrive in perfect condition. All products are authentic and reasonably priced compared to other shops, plus the staff won’t mind if you hang out a bit without buying anything.
Pro-tip: The shop is within walking distance from the City Hall MRT.
Hakken!
Address: 68 Orchard Rd, Plaza Singapura
Contact: +6596624093
Hours: Daily, noon to 9 PM

Hakken is packed with all things anime—figurines, plushies, keychains, posters, and even cosplayer photos, all reasonably priced.
The selection focuses on popular anime, like the current SPY x FAMILY, with themed decorations enhancing the ambience. During my visit, there were over five Anya cardboard cutouts at the entrance!
The staff are knowledgeable and happy to share insights on valuable figures and editions worth getting. Don’t be shy about approaching them with queries.
Pro-tip: Keep an eye out for promotions and updates, as merchandise can sell out quickly.
Ani Mecha

Ani Mecha encourages browsing, so feel free to explore as the fantastic store layout makes this easy. Known as a top model kit shop for Gundam fans in Singapore, it offers quality, genuine models for both beginners and experts.
In addition to model kits, you can find various anime merchandise, including figures and collectables here. Stuff from The Good Smile Company can be purchased at the shop, though they’re not as well-stocked as Gunpla items.
Pro-tip: The shop is located on the 2nd floor of a coffee shop, 5 minutes from Chinatown.
GK Figure
Address: 7 Temasek Boulevard, Suntec Tower One

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM

GK Figure is ideal for anime preorders, delivering in as little as two days. The staff promptly addressed my concerns and answered questions, providing timely updates on my order status.
That said, it’s a purely online store for figurines and collectables patronised by collectors worldwide. Orders are shipped directly from distributors or manufacturers globally, so the owners manage to keep the price as low as possible.
Pro-tip: The estimated completion date for pre-orders may change without notice, and delays are possible.
The Collector Base
Address: 107 North Bridge Rd
Contact: +6569744743
Hours: Daily, 11 AM to 9 PM
Price: $$
Website
I had a great first-timer experience at The Collector Base. The helpful and patient staff assisted me with using shopping mall e-vouchers and a shop-back promo which significantly reduced my purchase prices.
The shop offers a wide range of items, including Figuart Zero figures, old and new figurines, trading cards, and even electronics, all neatly arranged so things are easy to find. It seems to have everything, from gachapon and impressive statues.
Pro-tip: The friendly boss engages with customers face-to-face and through live streams, introducing new products, so go ahead and approach him.
ActionCity
Address: 2 Bayfront Avenue

ActionCity is well-lit and bright, with neatly laid-out merch that feels like a kid in a candy store. It’s perfect for easy window shopping, with no pressure from the staff, unlike other stores with overbearing salespeople.
The shop offers products from popular anime series and brands like BE@RBRICK, Hot Toys, and Medicom.
Prices vary, with smaller items and figures starting around S$20, while high-end collectables and limited editions can go up to several hundred dollars. It’s a great spot for both casual shoppers and serious collectors so don’t be intimidated to visit.
Pro-tip: All ActionCity Online orders include free delivery within Singapore.

Toymana offers a good selection of anime figures, Gunpla, and Tomica cars. I’ve ordered twice through its website, and both times, the items arrived on time and were well-packaged.
I also got my items at good prices due to awesome bundles and sales. The team is nice and patient with inquiries and exchanges, especially on their Facebook page.
Pro-tip: The online shop regularly holds sales on many items, so keep checking for big savings.

Being a fan of Inuyasha, I was extremely happy to get several figures from Pikku Play. I was given a heads-up by a collector friend who swears by the store for its vast selection and reasonable prices.
As an authorised reseller, this home-based business offers authentic toys, anime figures, and TCG products from brands like Pokemon TCG, Bushiroad, Good Smile Company, Ichiban Kuji, Furyu Corporation, and MegaHouse. You’ll likely get rare stuff here!
Pro-tip: The store hosts weekly trading card game (TCG) tournaments, creating a fun and engaging community atmosphere.
